Hi, and thank you for visiting my website. I am Mark Skeet and I’ve been a professional photographer in one form or another for most of the last decade, though I’ve been interested in photography for much of the last 30 years.

I’m fascinated by people and I seem to have a natural ability for capturing their personalities in my work. I do this by getting to know and understand people, and then translating that knowledge into stunning images. I’ve worked with makeup artists to invent creative looks that wouldn’t look out of place on the cover of Dazed and Confused. My work has been featured in a number of publications over the years and I have shot product photography for leading restaurants as well as high-end brands such as Louis Vuitton. Non-commercially, I have photographed numerous brides, parents-to-be, engagements and fashion photography. My experience and wide-ranging skillset mean that I can pretty much turn my hand to shoot anything.

In my spare time, I enjoy nothing more than heading to the Scottish Highlands and shooting landscape photography, the contrasts of wild seas, beautiful bays and sweeping mountain ranges are breathtaking and a perfect environment for getting away from it all and resetting in a hectic world.

Sadly, due to an eye condition, I’m no longer shooting professionally and this site is just for posterity and sharing anything I may shoot for personal reasons.

If you are looking for headshots I can recommend Rory Lewis and Anthony Farrimond.
