We were recently approached by Jennifer Evans with a brief to produce commercial imagery for her new business, Pathfinder Life. Offering more than just personal training, Pathfinder’s remit, in Jen’s own words is:

Fitness & lifestyle coaching with an unique blend of high energy, mindfulness & NLP to connect body & mind to get you in the best shape of your life.

Our preparation began in the month or so before the shoot with discussions around the mood and visual message that Jen wanted to portray. Jen’s previous career in marketing meant she was already well on the way with mood boards and with these in hand it was a simple matter of getting the right location vibe to try and match Jen’s visual identity vision and brand positioning.

The studio is part of a large mill complex so sourcing an unused area that had a nice natural light feel to it was straightforward and so we shot a mix of natural light images of Jen running through various exercises and studio based images to showcase both the physical results of Jen’s work plans and to produce images that had a wide range of uses across all platforms that she may want to use in her print and online marketing.

In Jen’s own words:

Oh Mark! thanks so much! absolutely loads to choose from! love them… Seriously. thanks – I love the variety and the fact in some of them I look like a pro figure competitor. Awesome job.
